As engineering company we, Lightweight Structures B.V. in Delft, Netherlands, carry out contract development projects, resulting in innovative lightweight structures, mostly with composite materials (fibre reinforced plastics). We prefer to start, together with our client, with the definition of a set of requirements and wishes. Then a product or  process development phase is carried out in which we combine our experience,  creativity and design and engineering capabilities. The result is a test model, a prototype, a product and/or certification.  

We prefer to carry out a project in close co-operation with our client.  In our experience know-how is exchanged best in this way. To control project risks we define a project plan with project phases, lead times, deliverables and costs, also to split tasks and responsabilities.
